Happy Spring Snack Day!

Spring Snack

Every month when I check Sophie's preschool calendar I get so excited when I see her name! I love when she is snack helper because there's so many awesome kids snack ideas, and with Monday being the first day of Spring I thought we had to do something in honor of this most wonderful season of the year when everything is being made new. Spring always reminds me of how God makes all things new, and how He made me new! Thank you Jesus!
So this is what I came up with....so fun, easy & adorable but most importantly it's yummy and SoSo approved. Below I tell you how to whip up a nest full of cuteness!
What you'll need:
1 pkg butterscotch chips
1 cup Rice Krispie's
2 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup marshmellows
1 pkg of Peeps
Jelly beans or egg shaped Whoppers
wax paper
---little hand to help----

What to do:
1.) Melt the entire bag of butterscotch chips in the microwave or double boiler according to package directions.
2.) In a large bowl combine Rice Krispies, noodles and marshmellows
3.) Once the butterscotch chips are melted until smooth pour over the dry mix and coat evenly.
4.) With a large spoon place on wax paper and form into the shape of a nest. Add peeps and eggs.

Then try to resist eating them all! They are very yummy!

Me and the little farmgirl had a wonderful day both indoors and out! We planted our first cabbage heads (in containers since we'll be moving soon) ekkkkk! I can't wait to set up our new homestead! I'll be blogging all of that too! Everything from home decor to barn raising you can follow it all!

We also got to spend some time with our two babies their momma and our Mommaw. We had planned a picnic in the park but mother nature had another plan for us so we seized the opportunity and headed to Target--which always turns out to be an expensive trip but Sophie found lots of cute vintage style shirts(which I love) so better get to making new bows to match! I also finally broke down and purchased her the LaLaLoopsy Doll she has been asking for since Christmas, which I think I love as much as she does!

Many Blessings,
Lesha Lou
